Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 30 credit hours postsecondary coursework required.
• 9 credit hours in the specific discipline with B or better required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operation of laboratories to ensure a safe, orderly, neat, clean and secure working environment.
• Setups advanced or technical equipment for classroom or laboratory settings.
• Receives and inventories; orders, receives, catalogs, and stores tools and equipment.
• Assists instructors with demonstrations and materials for lectures; prepares materials and equipment.
• Assists students in the safe use of equipment, materials and vehicles.
• Provides advanced support and resolves problems related to lab equipment.
• Assists instructors in evaluations and lab exercises; conducts lab tours; coordinates safety compliance.
• Hires, supervises and schedules work/study students.
• Provides computer and technical support for installation, operation and repair of computers and related software/hardware.
• Performs other related duties; complies with safety regulations and PPE as required.
