Job summary

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, with a role based in Clackamas, OR. You will join the Health & Biosciences team performing routine chemical analyses of materials and finished products, maintaining records and supporting cGMP compliance in a ISO/IEC 17025 environment.

This full-time position requires adherence to GDP and ongoing training. The role operates 8am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with potential for additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 0–2 years in a laboratory environment.
• Familiarity with GDP.
• Exposure to ISO/IEC 17025, AOAC, cGMP, or regulated environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using approved analytical methods.
• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and laboratory solutions.
• Maintain complete and accurate laboratory records, including calculations and supporting documentation.
• Assist with investigations of non-conformances and method verifications.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean, organized manner.
• Complete training and certifications to support ISO/IEC 17025, AOAC, and cGMP requirements.
