Bayer is seeking a Lab Automation Intern to work at the Morristown site, supporting the integration of an automated dispensing machine with laboratory computer systems. The role emphasizes testing, validation, and documentation to enable more accurate, efficient raw material dispensing workflows.
The intern will collaborate with scientists, engineers, IT, and automation partners, collecting performance data and assisting with compliance activities while gaining hands-on experience in automation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a technical degree relevant to automation and lab systems.
- Available for a 3-month internship assignment.
- Interest in laboratory automation and digital lab tools.
- Basic understanding of computer-controlled equipment and sensors.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software.
Responsibilities
- Assist integration of automated dispensing with lab systems.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot workflows for accuracy and efficiency.
- Document configurations, SOPs, tests, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collect and analyze equipment performance data for improvements.
- Support validation, safety, and compliance activities.
