Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) seeks a Lab Attendant to provide security-conscious lab support for visitors and staff. The position is full-time, onsite in Manassas, VA with a night shift (12:00 am–8:00 am, Monday–Friday). A DoD Secret Clearance and U.S.

citizenship are required. A high school diploma is required and familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred. Responsibilities include greeting and escorting visitors, maintaining security paperwork, updating the lab access database, and

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be reliable, disciplined self-starter able to work with supervision.
• Possesses excellent communication skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets/escorts guests throughout the lab
• Supports program and site security as required to support the lab
• Ensures security paperwork exists for all visitors
• Completes and maintains lab visitor forms for all visitors
• Ensures database is kept up-to-date with security access information
• Input movement of parts through the lab using web-based tool
• Coordinates with security and others all tours through the lab
• Helps ensure that electronic devices are not brought into the lab
• Adheres to all established the customer’s company security and safety procedures and guidelines
• Adheres to the customer’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct guidelines
• Scans inventory weekly
• Other duties as assigned

Lab Attendant Job Description

Performs lab support to the members of the Lab. Provides assistance at the entrance and inside a classified lab. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 12:00 am – 8:00 am shift.

Lab Attendant Required Tasks

• Greets/escorts guests throughout the lab
• Supports program and site security as required to support the lab
• Ensures security paperwork exists for all visitors
• Completes and maintains lab visitor forms for all visitors

Lab Attendant Additional Requirements

• Candidate m ust be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Willingness to work overtime (flexibility to work 12 hours if needed).

40 hours/week, onsite (Monday-Friday 12:00 am-8:00 am)
