Job summary

Christian Hospital Northeast Campus, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking an experienced Lab Associate III to join our laboratory team. This onsite role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while building your laboratory and phlebotomy skills in a collaborative healthcare environment.

The position requires phlebotomy experience, 2–5 years in a lab, and education from a high school diploma or GED, with preferred Associate's Degree.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of laboratory experience.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED minimum; Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs waived and moderate complexity testing with training and competency.
• Under supervision, reports test results as appropriate.
• Sorts and processes routine and high-level specimens and ensures proper handling for esoteric tests.
• Coordinates tasks to manage STAT orders and workload within scheduled hours.
• Inventory management and equipment cleaning/maintenance.
