Job summary

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is seeking a Lab Associate II to join the laboratory team. You will support patient care through specimen collection, handling, and clerical duties, with phlebotomy and priority on accurate processing.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule, opportunities in outpatient or physician-office settings, and the chance to contribute to high-quality lab services for the community.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience and patient interaction.
• Ability to perform specimen handling and central processing duties.
• Experience with registration and other clerical tasks in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy with proper patient identification and sample integrity.
• Sort and process specimens and manage lab workflows.
• Coordinate tasks to meet turnaround times and STAT orders.
• May assist with registration and inventory maintenance as needed.
