Additional Information About the Role

Are you looking for a career as a Lab Associate I - Courier? Join BJC! This position is for a Courier and does not include Phlebotomy. Be part of our Courier Service team and contribute to delivering accurate and reliable laboratory results that positively impact patient outcomes.

*** This Position will not include any Phlebotomy ***

• 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Thursday through Monday
• Position involves transferring lab specimens
• $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Overview

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing, and clerical duties related to specimen collection.

Responsibilities

1. Perform phlebotomy, ensure positive patient identification, engage in positive patient interactions, and maintain specimen integrity.
2. Coordinate multiple tasks accurately, including STAT orders and workload fluctuations, prioritizing work to meet scheduled hours and turnaround times.
3. Communicate effectively with lab, clinical, and other ancillary departments.
