Job summary

Siddaganga TBI is seeking a Lab Associate to oversee daily lab operations and drive projects in a fast-paced research environment. You will help organize events and community groups focused on lab and hardware initiatives, while coordinating training sessions and ensuring equipment usability and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, 2–3 years of lab experience, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison for day-to-day lab operations and take full ownership.
  • Organize events, activities, and community sub-groups to grow the entrepreneurial engineering community focused on labs and hardware.
  • Coordinate and produce training sessions, incorporating feedback to guide equipment and space use.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including lab inspections.
  • Evaluate lab protocols from internal and external groups to gain project insights.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies to operate equipment.
  • Collaborate with researchers, startups, corporates, and other stakeholders to understand lab needs and provide support.
  • Stay informed about latest tech advancements and share insights with the team.
  • Generate regular reports covering lab activities and project progress.
  • Document SOPs to ensure protocol adherence.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
