Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Mark locations of tests on requisitions upon specimen arrival.
• Ensure correct specimen and tube types are matched to tests.
• Fill out patient details and barcode labels on specimens.
• Inform facilities and complete paperwork for redraws when needed.
• Route specimens to correct lab benches and reference labs as required.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times during processing.
