Join to apply for the Lab Assistant - PRN, Central Processing role at Piedmont.

Responsibilities:

1. Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA, and the Georgia Department of Community Health standards.
2. Performs venipunctures and obtains/prepares blood specimens following Piedmont policies and procedures.
3. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or an equivalent agency is preferred.
3. Basic knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy is preferred.
4. Working knowledge of clinical laboratory processes is preferred.
5. Experience in performing EKGs and working in healthcare or a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.

Minimum Education Required: High School graduate or GED.
