Qualifications

• WA State Department of Health Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy certification.
• Infectious Substance shipping certification as per Dangerous Goods Regulations.
• Excellent customer service and patient relations skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy and venous systems; proper specimen collection techniques.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and basic medical/lab terminology.
• General computer knowledge is needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and prepare patient specimens for analysis with proper labeling and documentation.
