Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, prepare, and process patient specimens for diagnostics.
• Maintain OSHA/HIPAA compliance and universal precautions at all times.
• Familiarity with MSDS guidelines and CA regulations relevant to the lab.
• Assist in batching and sending tests to appropriate facilities or reference labs.
• Prepare smears and support QA in staining (Wright, Gram) as needed.
• Print downtime labels and manage draw postings during computer downtime.
