Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a phlebotomy-focused professional to perform sample processing, exempt screening and monitoring tests in line with CMS CLIA guidelines. The role includes venipuncture, blood specimen preparation, and aiding the technical team with non-clinical tasks.

No prior experience is required, though 1 year as a phlebotomist and EKG experience are preferred, along with healthcare/lab setting familiarity. CPT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• No experience required; 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience in performing EKGs preferred, and healthcare or clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification preferred.
