Villanova University is seeking Lab Assistant/Peer Mentors to support students in the SLRC located in Driscoll Hall. This student position is 2–10 hours per week with a wage of $10.00/hour and is open to summer and Fall/Spring 2025-26 schedules.

PMs assist with practicing vital signs and health assessment, Deliberate Practice tracking, basic skills (BP, catheterization, injections), setting up/tearing down simulation events, and maintaining the SLRC.

• Must supply two references from clinical faculty

Support is accomplished in a variety of ways:

• Review of basic skills (practicing vital signs and health assessment)

Requirements: Students in good academic standing; full-time enrolled College of Nursing student

• Lab Assistant/Peer Mentors must supply two references from clinical faculty. Please upload these to your application.

• Assist with lifting/moving full body sized mannequins in excess of 25 lbs, medical equipment, beds, tables, carts, audiovisual equipment.
• Requires manual dexterity to manipulate equipment and standing for periods of time.

Wage Rate: $10.00 per hour
