T he Food Service associate is responsible for the following: properly prepare, portion, label, store and serve food for patients and retail customers following department policies and procedures. This position not only requires food service related experience, but also a positive customer service attitude to ensure that our patients and visitors have an exceptional experience during their time at Penn State Health.

M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 Months Experience In Food Service Required.
• Must be able to read, write and perform simple math.

P HYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to stand and walk frequently.
• Able to lift/carry 0-10 constantly; 11-20 lbs frequently, 21-50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally.
• Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.
• Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
