Job summary

Qualifications

• HS grade or GED is required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program; lab experience or coursework preferred.
• May require Indiana driver's license and clean driving history.
• Basic computer skills and telephone communication.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and prepare specimens for testing.
• Enter orders and handle pre-analytic processing.
• Prepare blood components and perform related clerical tasks.
• Register patients and specimens and deliver specimens as needed.
