Salem Clinic Inland Shores is seeking a Lab Assistant I to support specimen collection, EKG placement, and data entry in EHR/LIS systems. This full-time role is based at Inland Shores in Keizer, OR, providing care-focused service in a busy clinical setting.

Require a high school diploma, phlebotomy training or equivalent, and national phlebotomy certification. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, with the ability to work all shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy program or equivalent experience.
• Phlebotomy certification from a national agency or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology used in laboratory orders.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting blood, urine, and other specimens for testing.
• Perform EKGs and Holter monitor placement as needed.
• Enter orders and manage data in EHR/LIS systems.
• Ensure accurate labeling and handling of specimens.
• Support patient identification and safety procedures.
