Job summary

Great Falls Clinic Hospital in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Night Shift Laboratory Assistant to support pre-analytical processes and specimen handling. You will help ensure accurate specimen collection and processing while adhering to safety policies and high quality care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy training course, with ACLS/PALS preferred. You may rotate among laboratory locations to meet staffing needs, with a 7 on/7 off night schedule.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Laboratory Assistant performs pre-analytical processes associated with collection and processing of laboratory specimens. Demonstrates a commitment to client experience, quality, and safety. Applies knowledge of laboratory operations to assist clients in utilizing laboratory services. Complies with all laboratory and safety policies. Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork are essential. May be moved amongst laboratory locations as needed.

The schedule for this position is a night shift role 7 on x 7 off

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy training course

EXPERIENCE

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• ACLS certification, preferred
• PALS certification, preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
