Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. This role involves venipuncture, sample processing, and assisting senior staff in a fast-paced laboratory setting. The position supports patient care and accuracy in specimen handling across multiple shifts.

No experience is required and a HS Diploma or GED is required. Preferred CPT Phlebotomy Certification and basic EKG experience, with comprehensive training provided by Piedmont Henry Hospital.

Qualifications

Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable. Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required
• 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred
• Experience in performing EKGs Preferred
• Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications
