UW Health is hiring a Lab Assistant - Float to perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy on patients of all ages, ensuring proper identification and specimen labeling. You will also handle specimen processing, and LIS-based order entry, with routine instrument maintenance and clerical duties.
The role involves daily collaboration with pathologists, physicians, technologists and nursing staff in a dynamic lab environment, supporting quality patient care and accuracy.
This is a full-time, 100% FTE position. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday with start times ranging from 7:45 AM - 9:00 AM and end times ranging from 4:15 PM - 5:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
