Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collection and processing in a hospital setting in Georgia. The role involves venipuncture, specimen handling, and assisting clinical and technical staff as needed.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• EKG experience preferred.
• Healthcare/clinical lab experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Performs venipunctures and prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.

Education

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification (preferred)
