Job Title: LAB ASSISTANT - CULINARY ARTS (PART-TIME POOL)

Employment Status: Part-Time

Salary: $11.12 / Per Hour

Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide support services in the Culinary Arts kitchen labs.

Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years related work experience OR completion of at least 45 credit hours in an Associate-level Culinary program.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in Culinary Arts.

Preferred Qualifications

Successful college teaching experience utilizing instructional technologies in a Culinary Arts kitchen lab; Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts.

Job Duties

1. Assist faculty in utilizing resources, materials, and educational technology to complement the teaching and learning process.
2. Assist students in the proper and safe operation of a variety of tools and equipment.
3. Assist faculty in maintaining student records/forms.
4. Work closely with the Culinary Arts Technician in providing necessary equipment and supplies needed in the Culinary Arts kitchen lab.
