Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Laboratory Associate to support patient care by ensuring specimens are properly processed, routed, and stored. You will follow safety, compliance, and quality standards in a lab with PPE requirements and PHI handling.

The role is full-time on the 2nd shift (40 hours/week) with opportunities for growth and a supportive team, as part of Sonic Healthcare USA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, computers, telephones).
• Bonus: 1–2 years of related clinical lab, data entry, or production experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
