Job summary

Actalent is seeking an entry-level ChemStore Support role based in Columbus, OH. This position includes cleaning validation, sample handling, and laboratory support tasks. Candidates with a background in science or pharmacy are preferred.

Responsibilities also involve managing inventory and utilizing SAP and LabWare for transaction management. The position offers competitive pay at $21/hr and benefits including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Prefer candidates with Pharmacy Technician experience or lab experience of at least 1 year.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Previous experience with pH testing, weight variations, and UV testing is a plus.

Description

Support all roles in ChemStore depending on the needs at the time. Functions at a high level. This role supports: Cleaning validation/verification process, sample login and destruction, ordering and receiving of inventory. Troubleshoots issues found and communicates them to their coach. Fully trained in all areas of ChemStore and able to assist in training as needed.

• Accepts requests from customers and retrieves samples, standards, reagents, and consumables.
• Assembles and delivers kits, including worksheets, chemicals, and glassware for laboratory use.
• Enters transactions into SAP, LabWare, and Ariba to account for customer’s requests.
• Collects samples/standards when lab need is complete. Prepares them for delivery to Warehouse for destruction.
• Prepares samples and performs cleaning validation/verifications via the following testing methods: UV, pH, and total solids.
• Troubleshoots entry errors in Labware, issues in locating standard samples, or any ordering issues.

• Bachelors or Associates in Science field, or Pharmacy Technician experience
• Prefer candidates with Pharmacy Technician experience or Lab Experience at least 1yr (Lab experience can be from school)

• Previous ph testing, weight variations, UV testing, pipetting, and use of balances a big plus
• Prior Inventory management skills a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
