Shift note: This is for the night shift with primary hours of 7:00PM - 7:30AM Thursday, Friday and Saturday's nights. It is a 36 hour per week position.
This position is eligible for the following differentials:
Evening: $3/hour, Night: $5/hour, Weekend Eve: $5.00. Weekend Night: $7.00

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Laboratory Assistant performs four essential roles in the function of the Laboratory:
EDUCATION:
Able to read, write and speak the English language
High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Phlebotomy Certification from a nationally recognized agency is highly recommended
Phlebotomy experience is a plus
Working knowledge of medical terminology desirable
Computer entry or word processing skills required
Good interpersonal communication skills required
Approximately six months to a year is required to learn the job for satisfactory performance. The Laboratory Director will evaluate this.
