Job summary

Rythm Health, Inc. is seeking a Lab Assistant to support core laboratory operations and contribute to the next phase of the company’s growth.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution, cross-functional collaboration, and building scalable systems in a fast-paced environment. You'll work with a collaborative team, handle pre-analytical prep, sample triage, and workflow support, while following SOPs and safety protocols to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; science coursework a plus.
• Prior lab, clinical, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail on repetitive, high-volume tasks.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.
• Comfortable working with biological specimens (training provided).
• Reliable and punctual; able to stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer literacy for sample data logging.

Responsibilities

• Receive, open, and sort incoming specimen envelopes; flag damaged shipments.
• Sort/triage samples by registration status.
• Perform pre-analytical prep including declotting prior to instrument loading.
• Support general workflow, such as centrifuging, labeling, organizing.
• Maintain a clean and compliant workspace; assist with supplies and waste.
• This position schedule is Monday - Friday, 11 AM - 7 PM CT.

THE ROLE

This position's schedule is Monday - Friday, 11 AM - 7 PM CT

As the Lab Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping shape the future of personalized health.

This is a highly impactful opportunity for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to own meaningful work with visible business impact. You'll work closely with cross-functional partners across the company to solve important problems, improve member experiences, and help drive the next phase of Rythm's growth.
