Dr. Tabea Springstein is seeking one full‑time Lab Assistant to begin on August 15, 2026. The duration for the position is one year. Her laboratory (Emotional Lives Lab) studies emotion and emotion regulation in everyday life contexts and across adulthood. The lab uses experience sampling and other ambulatory assessment methods such as smartphone‑sensing.

Compensation

The full salary range for the Lab Assistant 1 is $53,766.00 – $62,994.96 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $55,937.52 annually. Salary offers are based on education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other factors.

Employment Conditions

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
