Job summary

Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL is seeking a PRN Laboratory Assistant to support the diagnostic process by collecting, processing, and delivering specimens with accuracy, enabling clinicians to provide excellent patient care.

You will perform venipuncture, prepare specimens for testing, and ensure LIS data entry is accurate while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role supports a collaborative laboratory team and helps serve the community’s health needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• Phlebotomy or laboratory experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.

Pay: $17.50 - $26.24 per hour

Position: PRN (As Needed)
