Job summary

CWT Farms is seeking a laboratory assistant to process and analyze samples collected from the farms under the supervision of the Pedigree Laboratory Department Supervisor.

The role requires strict adherence to bio-security, animal welfare and safety policies, plus accurate data entry and inventory maintenance. Weekend rotations may be required to ensure timely testing and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge including creating documents and spreadsheets.
• Ability to follow lab work instructions and procedures.
• Willingness to work weekend rotations.
• Strong attention to quality, bio-security and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze samples from farms under supervision.
• Maintain inventory of supplies to prevent work delays.
• Enter samples and results into data management system.
• Follow company policies on bio-security, animal welfare, safety, ISO, drug and alcohol.
• Attend normal working hours or assigned schedule.
