Description

• Preparing and processing samples for testing, including collecting, labeling, and storing.

• Performing basic laboratory tests, assays, and procedures under the guidance of scientists or technicians.
• Accurately recording and entering data from experiments and tests into computer systems.
• Keeping track of lab activities, samples, and equipment, ensuring accurate and organized documentation.
• Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining laboratory equipment, instruments, and workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
• Assisting with calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Monitoring and restocking laboratory supplies and equipment to maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Safely disposing of chemical and biological waste according to established protocols and regulations.
• Assisting with setting up experiments, organizing equipment, and providing general support to researchers and scientists.
• Assisting with basic communication tasks, including answering phones, and responding to emails on behalf of the Lab Supervisor.
