Job summary

Laboratory Assistant at Lankenau Medical Center, part of Main Line Health, Inc., is a Full Time evening shift position in the STAT LAB. The role involves processing specimens for testing, supporting laboratory operations, and training under a Laboratory Supervisor.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, with preference for phlebotomy experience (Paoli campus) and familiarity with medical information systems. Certifications as Medical Assistant or related field are preferred.

Position:

Laboratory Assistant – Full Time- Evening Shift

Shift:

3pm - 1130pm - STAT LAB, weekend commitment (currently 1 in 4) per departmental needs. 2 Holidays/year

Experience:

Working knowledge of medical information systems preferred.

Moderate knowledge of medical terminology.

Excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills.

Phlebotomy experience required for Paoli campus

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licensures/Certifications:

Certification as a Medical Assistant or related field preferred.
