Job summary

Gunnison Copper is seeking a Lab Assay Technician at Johnson Camp Mine / Gunnison Project in southeastern Arizona. Under the Laboratory Manager, you will perform routine analytical and physical testing on mining materials, development samples and finished products, and report results.

You will calibrate and operate lab equipment, maintain safety and housekeeping, train technicians, and support QA/QC through accurate data reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in math and basic chemistry knowledge.
• Experience with lab equipment, instrumentation and QA/QC controls.
• B.S. in Chemistry, Engineering, Metallurgy or Geology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis for samples from prep, mine, leach or plant.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory analytical equipment.
• Train assay technicians and provide accurate data reporting.
