Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, computer, and technical skills.
• Experience or proficiency with databases, file maintenance, spreadsheets, and word processing.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate rodent health issues and standard treatments.
• Ability to analyze laboratory reports and summarize findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct animal health surveillance for rodents and other species.
• Communicate laboratory and animal health information to researchers.
• Support website functions.
• Participate in rodent sentinel health programs.
• Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Provide training to laboratory staff.
• Perform necropsy techniques and diagnostic procedures.
• Review laboratory reports and summarize findings for veterinarians and researchers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and welfare requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
