Job summary

The role involves daily animal care, housing, feeding and sanitation, with attention to health observations and documentation. You will support inventory and operate lab equipment in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, able to work autonomously or in a team, and capable of multi‑tasking across shifts. First shift available with full time hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of animal care experience is preferred.
• Current AALAS Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician registration is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care of laboratory animals, including feeding, watering, housing and sanitation of enclosures.
• Observe health conditions and report issues; maintain records and inventory in electronic systems.
• Maintain supplies and sanitation of animal housing and procedure areas.
• Operate equipment such as rack washers, tunnel washers and autoclaves as required.
