Inotiv in Mount Vernon, IN, is seeking an Animal Care Technician to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on daily care tasks, including feeding, enclosure cleaning, health monitoring, and ensuring animal well‑being in a research‑friendly environment.

You'll maintain accurate records, support orders, uphold strict sanitation, and collaborate with a team to keep a clean, safe, and compliant facility. Monday to Friday, 5:30am–2:30pm, with holiday and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications (email, etc.).
• Ability to learn laboratory techniques and use lab instruments.

Responsibilities

• Care for animals including feeding and cleaning.
• Monitor animal health and welfare and follow protocols.
• Coordinate order details for selection, packaging, and accuracy.
• Keep accurate records of feeding, cleaning, and care.
• Maintain sanitation of animal buildings, cages, and support areas.
