Valley View is seeking an experienced Lab Aide to join the hospital laboratory in a full-time capacity. The role includes receiving and collecting lab specimens, performing phlebotomy and capillary sticks, and registering patients while entering orders. Three 12-hour shifts (5am-5pm) with one weekend shift per month are required.

Exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Lab Aide to work in Valley View Hospital's Laboratory!

3 12-hour shifts! 5am-5pm with one weekend shift per month!

As a Lab Aide you will receive and collect lab specimens, perform phlebotomy and capillary sticks according to laboratory procedure, and register patients and enter orders amongst other responsibilities!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Experience:

• One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Basic computer and filing skills.
• Ability to order tests accurately.

SALARY RANGE:

• $20.41to$30.02/hour
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
• $2.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Sunday.
