Job summary

Valley View Hospital seeks a Lab Aide for a full-time role in its Laboratory. The position offers 3 twelve-hour evening shifts per week with rotating weekends and requires phlebotomy and specimen handling duties. This on-site opportunity includes patient registration and order entry.

Education of a high school diploma is required; one year of phlebotomy experience is preferred and a basic computer skillset is assumed. Visa sponsorship is not available. Salary range is provided in the posting.

As a Lab Aide you will receive and collect lab specimens, perform phlebotomy and capillary sticks according to laboratory procedure, and register patients and enter orders amongst other responsibilities!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Experience:

• One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Basic computer and filing skills.
• Ability to order tests accurately.

SALARY RANGE:

• $20.41to$30.02/hour
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
• Evenings, nights, and weekend differentials available.
