Job summary

A healthcare service provider in New York seeks a Laboratory Aide to support workflows in the Dermatopathology Laboratory. Responsibilities include managing biopsy samples, digital imaging, and compliance tasks. Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to solve problems effectively.
• Ability to learn the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Working proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) or similar software.
• Experience in a Histopathology and/or Immunohistochemistry lab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support digital pathology operations by creating high-quality images of slides.
• Maintain scanner performance and assist with data collection.
• Perform data entry of all cases in the LIS accurately.
• Dispose of waste in compliance with laboratory protocols.
• Coordinate with Pathologists for additional testing requests.
