Job summary

Eataly is hiring a Scuola Associate to support La Scuola experiences through event support and exceptional customer service. You will warmly welcome guests, assist the Chef during classes, and help set up dining areas and stations for events.

Responsibilities include serving meals, accommodating dietary needs, and performing kitchen duties. Evening/weekend availability is required for this event-based role at onsite locations.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service attitude and confident demeanor.
• Ability to learn, retain and share Eataly knowledge.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Previous retail and/or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests attending events at La Scuola.
• Assist Chef during classes and events by anticipating needs.
• Set up dining area with floorplan, silverware, glassware and marketing materials.
• Prepare La Scuola workstations with ingredients and equipment for each guest.
• Serve meals and beverages, noting dietary accommodations and courses.
• Assist in setting up food stations for events.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen area in coordination with Chef after events.
• Execute side work and closing duties including restocking and polishing items.
• Support storage organization and other duties as needed.
