Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety across multiple commercial construction sites in the Los Angeles area, with a strong emphasis on educational and campus projects. The role requires deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, OCIP compliance, and site safety documentation, reporting to senior management, and supporting the Program Safety Manager as needed.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of US commercial construction experience, 5 years in California, and 2+ years

Qualifications

• 10 years of commercial construction experience with a General Contractor in the United States.
• 5 years of relevant California experience with a contractor or major subcontractor.
• 2 years of experience managing safety on educational or campus projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate field teams and multi-site safety programs.
• Experience with demolition, renovation, new construction, and hazardous material handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety compliance for multiple projects, conducting daily site inspections and producing detailed reports.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and OCIP requirements on all sites.
• Lead safety meetings, review JHA, MOP, Fall Protection Plans, and related submittals.
• Manage incident reports, conduct stand-downs, and implement lessons learned.
• Deliver safety orientations to contractor personnel and drive a safety-first culture.
