NTT Data's client is seeking a L3/L4 Network Engineer to join their team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Summary

The Level 3 to Level 4 Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network solutions focusing on Aruba route/switch technologies. This role requires expertise in Aruba wireless, VXLAN, NetConductor, Clearpass, and Central. The engineer will ensure seamless integration and optimization of these technologies within the network infrastructure.

Job Profile Summary

Responsible for setup and installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for client’s purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions. Works directly with clients to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users. Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues for escalation. Provides feedback for product and process improvements. May work on-site or remotely for installation support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and deploy Aruba route/switch solutions, including configuration and integration.
  2. Develop and implement network policies using Aruba's policy model, including VLANs, VXLANs, etc.
  3. Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components.
  4. Design, deploy, and manage Aruba wireless networks for optimal coverage and security.
  5. Implement and manage Aruba NetConductor for network orchestration.
  6. Configure and maintain Aruba Clearpass for network access control.
  7. Utilize Aruba Central for network management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  8. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot Aruba-related issues.
  9. Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of Aruba technologies.
  10. Provide training and support on Aruba best practices.
  11. Conduct project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons.
  12. Ensure network security within the Aruba environment.
  13. Manage initial access, data transfer, documentation, and training for clients.
  14. Test and troubleshoot installed systems; escalate issues as needed.
  15. Provide feedback for product and process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years in network engineering, with 5+ years in Aruba route/switch solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Aruba wireless, VXLAN, NetConductor, Clearpass, and Central.
  • Experience with IP, VLAN, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
  • Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aruba Certified Network Professional (ACNP) or Aruba Certified Design Expert (ACDX).
  • Experience with automation/orchestration tools like Ansible and Python.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid environments.
