Qualifications

• Active New York RN License required.

• ACLS certification through AHA required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care for orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and post-surgical orthopedic patients
• Monitor patient conditions, telemetry readings, pain management, and recovery progress
• Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Perform patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding recovery, mobility, and discharge planning
• Respond effectively in high-acuity and fast-paced clinical situations

Join a fast-paced and highly specialized orthopedic team where innovation, teamwork, and patient care come together. We’re seeking an experienced Orthopedic Trauma Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care for patients recovering from orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and elective orthopedic procedures.

This unit is recognized for excellence in orthopedic research, innovation, and professional growth opportunities. Nurses on this team work collaboratively in a supportive and energetic environment focused on delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

Schedule:

36 or 48 hours per week

Weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation required based on unit needs

What You’ll Do:

Deliver high-quality nursing care for orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and post-surgical orthopedic patients

Monitor patient conditions, telemetry readings, pain management, and recovery progress

Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
