Job Summary

Supports the Network Architecture team by translating architecture requirements into platform-level configurations. Performs tests to support deployment readiness decisions within a moderate scope.

Responsibilities

  1. Proactively identify potential issues that could lead to network and/or service breakdown.
  2. Provide Level 2 (L2) technical support for all L2 issues from the GNOC team and others as applicable.
  3. Drive visibility and effectively manage recurring network/service and customer experience issues across the board in a timely manner.
  4. Lead and manage specific customer and network-facing planned maintenance activities.
  5. Advise the business on network and customer solution risks and mitigation plans to prevent issues.
  6. Prioritize escalations according to OLAs for different service segments such as High Capacity, High Profile, Prime, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Mercury.
  7. Coordinate upward technical interactions with L3 Support, Network Planning, and OEMs to ensure network and customer interests are protected.
  8. Plan low-level network and service improvements (e.g., upgrades, downgrades, performance enhancements) to improve performance and reduce OAM costs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in relevant roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields preferred.
