What you'll do:
Work under direct supervision to perform basic and routine infrastructure project assignments related to Computer, Network, Storage, Cloud, and End-User infrastructure.
Assist with planning, researching, evaluating, designing, and developing systems.
Provide basic technical support and assist with analysis, operation, administration, and troubleshooting activities.
Assist in preparing cost estimates, justifications, application requirements, alternative solutions, and technical recommendations.
Participate in the preparation of technical documentation, including procedures, manuals, and reports.
Review and adhere to budgeting and approval processes while assisting with annual and project planning.
What We are looking for:
Infrastructure Engineer Associate (SG5):
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, engineering, or related technical field is required.
Experience: No additional experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Infrastructure Engineer (SG6):
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Nice-to-have:
Experience:
Networking Equipment:Proficient with Arista switches (CVP) and Cisco routers/switches (Nexus).
Network Management:Familiar with SolarWinds (NCM), Cisco DNA, and Wireshark packet analysis.
Automation & Protocols:Skilled in AWX automation and dynamic routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS).
Communication Technologies:Experience with Cisco Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, and router/switch fundamentals.
Problem Solving:Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting medium-complexity network issues.
Security & Application Delivery:Experience with F5 (LTM, DNS, ASM, APM), Infoblox DDI, FortiGate Firewall, Cisco ASA, ISE, and VPNs.
Industry Protocols:Hands-on with TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, Wireless LANs, and VPN.
Vulnerability Management:Technical experience in Vulnerability Management, Remediation, and Reporting.
Communication Skills:Excellent written and oral communication, capable of presenting complex findings effectively.
Licenses/Certifications:
Fortinet NSE or similar professional-level certifications.
