Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an L2 Data Center Technician or similar data center role.
• Genuine, verifiable experience in data center operations.
• Strong rack-and-stack experience with data center hardware.
• Hands-on hardware deployment and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working with fiber and copper cabling.
• Basic networking and cabling knowledge.
• Ability to clearly explain previous projects, hardware supported, rack units (RU), cabling, and deployments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a data center environment.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in a data center environment.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking experienced L2 Data Center Technicians to support hands‑on infrastructure operations and hardware deployment activities. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$31/hr - $34/hr

Position Overview:

The L2 Data Center Technician will support data center operations, rack‑and‑stack activities, hardware deployment, troubleshooting, and cabling. The ideal candidate will have genuine data center experience and the ability to clearly explain previous projects, hardware supported, rack units (RU), cabling, and deployment activities.

The L2 Data Center Technician will work directly within a data center environment supporting modern infrastructure and hardware deployments. Practical hands‑on experience is more important than certifications for this opportunity.

Responsibilities of the L2 Data Center Technician:

• Perform hands‑on data center operations and infrastructure support.

• Experience supporting GPU‑based infrastructure.
• Familiarity with air and liquid cooling technologies.
• Experience working with modern data center infrastructure.
• Data center certifications are a plus but are not required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to confidently discuss hands‑on technical experience during the interview process.

Education Requirements:

• No specific education requirement or certification is required.
