Candidates must be pursuing a Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering degree, with strong academics and availability for 40 hours/week on-site.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Concurrent enrollment for the duration of the experience.
• Strong academic performance.
• On-site availability for 40 hours per week.
• Valid driver’s license for work-related travel (15–35%).
• US work authorization now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support Logistics & Storage (L&S) Engineering projects as part of MPC/MPLX.
• Rotate between L&S components to gain exposure across business segments.
• Participate in Marathon Project Management Process phases: Conceptual, Feasibility, Definition, Implementation, Start-up/Close-out.
• Assist with project scope development, engineering oversight, technical design, cost estimating, schedules, bid evaluation, construction supervision, safety leadership, and coordination with operations groups.
• Contribute to project documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
