A prominent international law firm is seeking a talented mid to senior-level Associate Attorney to join its premier Labor & Employment Group, supporting the California practice in Los Angeles and San Francisco.

This role offers the opportunity to represent sophisticated employers in complex labor and employment disputes, with a particular focus on wage and hour class actions, while collaborating with a nationally recognized team.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
• 3–5 years of substantive employment litigation experience.
• Extensive experience defending wage & hour claims, including class actions.
• Strong legal research and writing skills with ability to produce high-quality work.
• Experience drafting key legal documents and managing discovery.
• Desire for trial work and collaboration within a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex employment litigation matters including wage & hour claims and class actions.
• Draft and refine pleadings, motions, class certification briefs, and filings.
• Participate in trials and contribute to trial preparation work.
• Manage discovery including written discovery, document review, and deposition prep.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys across CA offices to develop strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on evolving class action issues.
• Maintain clear, client-ready communication and deliver practical guidance.

What you'll do

• Handle complex employment litigation matters, including the defense of wage & hour claims and wage & hour class actions
• Draft and refine pleadings, motions, class certification briefs, and related filings
• Participate in trials and contribute to trial preparation work
• Manage and oversee discovery, including written discovery, document review, and deposition preparation
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys across the firm's CA offices to develop litigation strategies
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on evolving class action issues
• Maintain clear, client-ready communication and deliver practical guidance
