Job Summary: The Registered Nurse II practices as a full partner on the multidisciplinary team. They independently plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, performing related duties as required. They assess patients' needs for nursing care, ensure continuity of care through appropriate discharge planning, patient education, and coordination of services, and act as a patient and family advocate. They demonstrate and model the full range of nursing professional practice in both patient care and in developing strategies to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness at the unit level.
This patient population includes various levels of acuity requiring individualized care plans. The nursing team is highly skilled in delivering compassionate care and developing personalized care plans.
