Job summary

Hermeus Corporation is seeking an L&D Associate in Los Angeles to support learning initiatives end-to-end, manage LMS administration, content creation, and training coordination.

You will collaborate with managers to translate business needs into practical learning solutions, deliver onboarding and compliance training, and help evaluate training effectiveness in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 - 3 years in HR, training, or administrative roles; experience with adult learning practices is preferred.
  • Proficiency with virtual training platforms (e.g., WorkRamp, Teams).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and basic e-learning tools.

About this Role:

As an L&D Associate you will support our learning initiatives end-to-end. You will help manage LMS administration, content creation and management, training coordination, facilitation support, and evaluation of training effectiveness. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to partner with team leaders to translate business needs into practical learning solutions.

Responsibilities:

LMS Administration

  • Load training modules into the LMS, assign users, manage enrollments, and track completion rates.
  • Maintain course catalogs, metadata, and version control; generate standard and ad-hoc reports.

Content Creation & Management

  • Assistin creating and curating learning content (materials, presentations, e-learning modules).
  • Maintain a clean, accessible content library and ensure consistency with branding and standards.

Partnering with Team Leaders

  • Collaborate with managers and subject matter experts to understand learning needs and translate them into effective learning solutions.
  • Gather feedback on learning outcomes and refine offerings accordingly.

Training Coordination

  • Managelogisticsfor training sessions (room bookings, scheduling, participant invites, calendar coordination).
  • Set up virtual platforms (Teams, etc.) and prepare training materials and handouts.

Facilitation

  • Deliver onboarding sessions, workshops, and compliance training as needed;assistfacilitators during sessions.
  • Create a welcoming learning environment for participants.

Evaluation & Analytics

  • Design and distribute feedback surveys; analyze training data to measure effectiveness.
  • Prepare clear reports with recommendations for improvements.

Administrative & Compliance Support

  • Maintain training records, ensure accessibility and compliance with internal policies.
  • Support audits and provide audits-ready documentation as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 - 3 years in HR, training, or administrative roles; experience with adult learning practices is preferred.
  • Proficiency with virtual training platforms (e.g., WorkRamp, Teams).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and basic e-learning tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees and facilitating sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sessions and deadlines; strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with collecting feedback, analyzing data, and deriving actionable insights.
  • Role is based on-site at the Los Angeles facility.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent walking through office, manufacturing, and test facility environments.
  • Occasional standing, bending, or reaching as part of employee engagement or site walkthroughs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., employee materials, office supplies, or equipment).
  • Ability to adhere to safety requirements and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering production or test areas.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced aerospace environment with exposure to light industrial noise and activity.

$89,000 - $120,000 a year
