KMM Telecommunications is seeking a Tower Technician to join our crew in the areas around Coventry, CT and Shrewsbury, MA. The role involves climbing towers and working on elevated structures up to 300 ft, with potential overtime and variable site locations.

Training will be provided and a strong safety mindset is essential. Ideal candidates may have 1–2 years of tower experience, a valid driver’s license, and climbing certification.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1–2 years tower construction experience preferred.
• Comtrain or equivalent climbing certification preferred; training provided by KMM.

Responsibilities

• Climb towers, rooftops, water towers and other elevated structures up to 300 ft.
• ≥Overtime, weekend and evening work may be required.
• Be flexible to work out of Market where site locations dictate.
• Maintain safety standards as part of the team.

We are looking for an individual that values hard-work and trust, and wants to be part of a Team that values the same. This position would be the 3rd or 4th position on a 3 or 4 person Tower Crew. KMM provides a comprehensive safety program and will train motivated candidates.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Valid driver's license. Minimum 1-2 years tower construction experience preferred.
• Green Hands new to the Tower Industry as well as applicants with no construction experience are welcome to apply and will be considered.
• Comtrain or equivalent climbing certification preferred; training will be provided by KMM otherwise.
• Must be flexible to work overtime; weekend and evening work sometimes required.
• Must be flexible to work out of Market when/where required as site locations dictate.
• Must be comfortable climbing and working at heights on towers, rooftops, water towers and other elevated structures up to 300ft.
